Consistently poor service from Habitat over the last 6 months or so. Items I ordered over three weeks ago now still haven’t arrived (despite delivery being promised within 14 days), so I emailed customer services and got a response saying they’re ignoring emails. I left a review highlighting poor service on their website and it has been ‘moderated’. To be honest, even if they did deliver within 14 days, that’s still pretty poor compared to competitors who have obviously valued their customers much more over the last year. This is the third order which has been late and I’ve never any prior notification or contact, it has always fallen to me to contact them and prompt some response rather than anything proactive from their side. Appalling customer service, would recommend finding the equivalent from John Lewis and ordering there to save yourself the hassle.

As with many other customers, my account was deleted leaving me with no way to check the status of my overdue order other than to 'reach out' to Habitat via social media. On doing so my messages were ignored, making the token responses to these Trustpilot reviews somewhat amusing. Shameful customer service. My flatpack furniture was eventually delivered, with some damage, but the thought of trying to instigate a conversation with Habitat was too tiresome to contemplate. Needless to say, a customer has been lost.

Ordered via Argos a coat tree - delivered but part of the post is faulty. Contacted their customer service, which is in the North West, lovely lady sorted the problem, immediately and advised replacement parts would be sent via royal mail.I previously had purchased a habitat lamp just before christmas and was having difficulty making payment, they were having a problem with their IT at the time. I spoke with a young man named Anhony, again could not fault how helpful he was Both these assistants could train some of the Argos customer service staff, who can be dismissive at times - if you work customer facing it must, Im sure be frustrating at times - but you chose the job and we as customers are helping to pay your salary.Again well done to HABITAT

What has happened to Habitat? I'm in the same position as everyone else on this feed. I've ordered a product, from a previously reputable and reliable supplier, and it hasn't arrived. Ordered 25th January. A text on 7th February telling me there would be a delay, but nothing so far. £4.95 for an item that cost £15.95. If goods are eventually delivered, delivery fees should automatically be refunded. Mine is only a small, inexpensive order, but it's still my money in Habitat's pocket. Come on, guys.

Waited over an hour trying to get through. Order placed on 16 January and only one out of 4 items received. They won’t answer the phone and no live chat. Looks like a credit card dispute. Absolutely dreadful service for such a big company and loads of people looking for work

Has gone from bad to worse now part of Argos. Cancelled items in my order with no explanation, even though the items are in stock. the ‘chat’ service is absolutely useless.

Bought some china bowls one arrived broken. All I want is a replacement or refund. Probably quite simple to arrange if someone would answer the blasted phone! The irony of the endless recorded message 'there are plenty of ways to get in touch' - NO THERE IS NOT!! I couldn't find live chat, I don't have FB, twitter, my daughter tried Instagram on my behalf - no answer, there is no email address. I've spent literally hours waiting on the phone. Customer service clearly means nothing to Habitat.

We purchased a blanket box from Habitat and found the pistons to keep the lid open would not fit. I contacted Habitat and they replied swiftly to offer a partial refund, as that item was no longer in stock. I have to say they provided me with great customer service and resolved my issue swiftly. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for the slightly imperfect blanket box.

I ordered two TV units in mid-January, the order was accepted and payment has been taken from my account. After the initial order confirmation, I haven't received any further communications and the order has not been received. In addition, it's past the 14 days the order was committed to being delivered in when the order was placed. In the meantime Habitat and Argos have merged their websites with the promise that orders placed on Habitat would appear in your Argos account but the orders don't, and neither is the Habitat order number accepted when you try to use the 'find my order' feature. In short, an absolutely shocking experience for customers in combining the two websites as my order seems to have disappeared into the ether. I then tried to use the suggested contact methods listed on my order to get some customer service help:1) Twitter - @Habitathelp - this Twitter account hasn't been active since 2018!2) Facebook - Messenger - says they will respond in 72 hours but on the main Twitter account says social media enquiries will get a response in 7 days which is completely unacceptable!3) Phone - waited and waited on the phone line and never got answered. Adding insult to injury was the recorded message saying 'there are loads of ways to get in touch' playing on a loop - clearly whoever implemented that hadn't actually tried to get in touch with Habitat.Basically, there is no reasonable way to contact Habitat if you need customer service and also no way to see what's happened to your order.Habitat used to be an aspirational brand...it's now a brand I aspire to never have to purchase from online again. I just want to know what's happening with my order.---Update: After an hour of waiting on the phone, finally got through to someone who said the order wouldn't be able to be fulfilled because the remaining units that I ordered were damaged in the warehouse. If I hadn't called, I wonder if I would have ever been told about this?! I also asked by my order wasn't appearing on the Argos website as promised and the customer service rep couldn't explain - said he thought orders placed between certain dates weren't being moved across. So basically no way to see the order I placed online on any account....shocking.I've been promised a refund - I will update this review again once/if received.Moral of this story, DO NOT order from Habitat online ever again.

I ordered an expensive poster from Habitat early December and it arrived stored inside a cardboard tube safely packaged. Due to the fact Habitat didn't have stock of a suitable frame at the time, I left the poster unopened for safe keeping. Fast forward a month and upon removing the poster I find the item damaged with multiple creases ruining the poster for it's display purpose.Habitat refused to exchange the item because I hadn't reported it within 14 days, let alone offer a refund. So now I'm left with a faulty item and the company refusing to help. This is not how you get return business Habitat and I shall not be purchasing from you again.

Ordered and paid for a rug which never arrived - no communication about status of order, delivery times etc. Finally managed to contact Habitat on twitter after waiting 3 weeks to be told rug out of stock and they would send a refund. I don't think I would have heard from them if I hadn't chased it up. Such a poor customer experience overall and weird way to run an ecommerce operation. They then asked me for a review and deleted it because I was critical so clearly not interested in solving the many customer service problems they seem to have.

I ordered a couple of Agnes rugs. They arrived promptly and look great! Very pleased with the service and quality of the rugs.
